Exclamation Xeon Update

Hey everyone, sorry for not posting updates more often. I sort of got tied up with other projects for the last few months and didn't get much work done on Xeon. I have been able to devote more time to it recently, so you should some more updates soon. Don't have any ETA on next release though =/

I was under the impression that Xeon and CXBX merged in order to come out with an emulator more easily and efficiently. Maybe I'm behind on the news... why no collaboration?

i think that never worked out. sometimes its best to have seperate projects. its really up to the authors.

Maybe now that CXBX has had so much progress, SF is back to show off his "code-borrowing" skills.

Don't flame me. I'm just referring back to Caustik's comments about how its obvious that a lot of Xeons progress could be attributed to CXBX's open source.

I don't know what you're talking about, when I was writing Xeon I specifically made sure not to look at other people's code since I wanted to get the experience for myself without any help. The only part I used was the file format documentation as I explained in the readme.

please, STFU n00b. _SF_ and caustic's projects have radically different things going for them, and obviously have little in common other than that they both allow xbox files to run in windows. one can sort of play Halo, and one can play Turok very well, with compatability this radically different, it's obvious their code bases are quite different.

which is too bad, imho. It'd be awesome if these 4 guys worked together:

_SF_, caustic, sopskrutt, and kingofc.

but some of that may subvert their very reason for doing it in the first place, so it's not up to me, now is it.

how dare you leave sopskrutt out of that list! he contributes directly to Cxbx CVS and progress would be lagging far behind what it is right now if it wasnt for his work.
