other games

I dont know exactly what xdk's versions halo uses. However has anyone tried using other games that use exactly the same xdk versions. Surely there is a decent chance they may work a bit :]

hmmm not sure since i think _SF_ said he wrote it especially for Halo...not for the XDK. well anyone could give it a try i guess but i dont think it will work

well, actualy, if Im right, xeon is not XDK specific. were'as cxbx has to intercept and find the diffrent calls, xeon uses halo.ini to give the offsets for each one, so there is no need to intercept. If someone were to wright an ini file for, say, mechassult, it would work just as well as halo...

DC that is completely incorrect. Try not to oversimplify the techniques Xeon or myself use for emulation. It would take a lot of work for _SF_ to get Xeon running MechAssault, unless he has been working on it and just has not released an .ini. Much of the work is the behind the scenes support for those functions you see in the ini.
