Re: 55fps with fx5900/256mb
Um I think (and im not sure) But that they just use a Modded X box to extract the image on a PC. Not really illegal. But downloading one is.
![]() Just dont speak of that here. I mean dont actually say it.

Re: 55fps with fx5900/256mb
So lets just said that Ive taken some more unconventional methods to get Xeon running, and leave it there.
![]() I guess the way people get their game on their harddrive is up to them. |

Nothing much to see really, except for the 'wow, Im actually running xbox' feel.
The intro plays, the game starts, I can move around without problem, and the game runs stable here, as long as I play things that I have already cached in software mode, I could probably play on forever. Runs very well, speedwise, but I am aware of the fact that I have a pretty powerful computer. I dont know how much _SF_ optimized the game so far thou. I did turn up the fps limit to 60 instead of 30... Most of the textures are gone (black), so it is impossible to navigate unless you played Halo before (which I have not). It took forever before I could find the 'red square' in the tutorial since that was also blacked out, and then I was blocked in some type of corridor, just becouse I couldnt see where the difference between walls and walk-able floor You could say that playing the game is like running around blind. All lights seem to render thou, and static objects, just not floor/roof & walls. As soon as _SF_ got the textures showing, and fixed the map-load-crash issue, the game should be playable from start to end. There are some funny stuff going on with other people's legs thou... Imagine a marching nazi, except that the legs goes all up in the air, stright upwards... I laughed alot during the intro, specially when the commander walked by, or when the soldiers where running.Best Regards JemyM |
