Cool NGemu Gaming Clan

What is everyone's thoughts on a NGemu clan mainly for PC gaming? I still remember the good old days of Halo and PSO

I was planning on using Xfire's clan system. For now, it will be more of a casual gamers club....mostly to help organize and play multiplayer games between NGemu members. Possibly, as time goes by, we might wanna get into competitive play against other clans.

How about it?

edit> The clan page has been created:

Xfire - NGemu: Next Gen Gamers Clan (ngemu)

sounds interesting to me, although a list of games people are willing to play would have to be established

If it was a regular member who suggested it I would say that the admins would say no but since it's an admin saying it then I say go for it.

I didn't discuss it with any of the other admins yet. I'm just throwing it out into the air.

odds are they won't care as long as they don't have to do anything

didnt some of us try to play CS: Source at one point?
I'm always on there so if anyone's up for a game, let me know.

I should continue playing GW Nightfalls.... I've put it on the side for a couple months now

I'm game, depending on the game of course. Why don't you guys go buy Test Drive Unlimited or something?

The Gunz Online clan was fun while it lasted as well. Something like Guild Wars sounds like fun as well. The game's been recommended by a friend of mine though I haven't bought it yet.

Right now I can't really afford new games and most of the ones I played are "borrowed", I could play CS:Source or other Half-Life2 based games but that's just about it.

No....that was only me We use to play some games (from what I remember, Flare hosting a Halo server....Yelo and a few others playing on a private PSO server). But nothing was ever organized.

I was thinking about more organized multiplayer.....

Just thought of something:

If Guild Wars were chosen, how much is that exactly going to cost me, like €120,- in one go because of needing all three games?

How did we get started talking about guild wars?

Cid: Guild Wars uses hybrid expansion packs. Basically, if you only buy the Prophecies campaign, then you can only play those missions. However, someone with Factions or Nightfalls can play with you in a Prophecies mission, no matter if it's a new exclusive character or not...as long as they have Prophecies as well.

I own all 3 anyways

But in general, I'm just thinking of using Xfire to organize multiplayer sessions, depending on which game everyone wants to play. If I decide to make the clan professional, then we'll worry about specific games

I vote for the old PSO... well, BB even. I always wanted to play with Yelo but he never played with me.

I suppose Nightfall doesn't work without the earlier parts, right? Right now I'm looking into a nice budget deal on Prophecies.

It does work without the earlier parts. It's a completely seperate game.

Kaneda, I think with the PS2 you generally run into the problem that too few people around here have a game.

I doubt it'd work, at least with pc games most of us can buy it and get online, I don't like having to bug refraction for adding PS2 netplay so we can play Killzone online

Anyway Kirby, if we can get a list of who are playing Guildwars, I could seriously consider getting a copy myself. The first one can be had rather cheaply these days to see what it's like.

Raise your hands if you're into GW
