F.E.A.R. MP is kinda crappy imo

Too fast paced, and when it only takes 1 second for u to die that kinda is a bad thing. Its like InstaGib on confined spaces and small maps.

Have we given up on a decent OpenTTD game with lots of people?

The problem of F.E.A.R. MP is big ping, and big lag on all server.

I'm almost finished with my OpenTTD tutorial. I'm expecting (read DEMANDING

) that many people will join this time. Since the server is persistent, time zones and "no time" are no excuses

But its mostly text.

Ok! I've finished the tutorial, i'm going to start a new game tomorrow, it would be really great if we had as many people as possible. You don't have to wast much time playing it, just do some stuff from time to time on the server. How many people are already willing to join? So i can see who i need to "persuade". ^^

I'm on the final stretch with my university work (hence the reason that this is my first post since 1975) so don't expect me to do anything community-wise until around the end of May.

OK a new OpenTTD game will start at 20:00 GMT+0 ( That is 1 hour from now )
It will start in year 1980 and end in 2080.

Would be nice to have as many people as possible to join. Doesn't matter if your late.

The server will be up now but it will reboot at 20:00 for the real game to start. Feel free to mess around in the server before the game starts. Meanwhile Cid and I will try to convince as many people as possible.

PLEASE JOIN!!!! Like i said, even if you think you don't like it give it a try, you don't have to spend much time with it.
