Games I have for PC atm that can do multiplayer

-Halo
-Live for Speed (and almost no one has it, I know =P )
-Half-life + mods (the OLD one)
-Other, even older stuff =P (like Shogo ;p )

That's not too great, I know. ;p

Anyway, I've got Settlers 2 as well, I wouldn't mind playing a game some day. It's been a while since I've played it for the last time. How is the online community these days? I remember getting the game as soon as it was released and there used to be 10 people online.

I still have Homeworld 2 as well, it was the biggest disappointment ever after such a great original game.

And Mire,don't worry, just wait and see how the specific games will work for you. We've played with Cloud as well, who was pretty laggy at times

hmm.. HL2 (demo) runs decently on my PC as well, I could always try that Source stuff out too... time to reinstall Steam anyway.
Uh, basically I'd be able to run (provided I'd buy it) any game that does not REQUIRE a dx9 card... allthough NFS Most Wanted really sucked on this PC, and I'm not gonna buy a game twice (already have it on ps2). Didn't try Carbon, I already have the same game under the name "Underground 2" =P

If HL2 ran well for you then CS source should to.
Uses the same engine I think.

I prefer Halo because of all the crazy modded servers.

seems I haven't played long then... I always liked Halo because the multiplayer tends to get really wacky at times. Dropping a tank on someone is always funny

Oh, by the way, the demo version of LFS (Live for Speed - Online racing simulator) can be downloaded freely and is also playable online... it's a bit limited in content, though. On the other hand, it has the best net-code I've ever seen in a racer; the game's simply designed for multiplayer.

Hmm.. as i'm getting my monthly money in 2 days i might as well consider getting a new game along with it. I've heard good stuff about Supreme Commander. Oh and i also forgot that i have Splinter Cell Double Agent.
