Guys, maybe you could mention some multiplayer games you play or like (vote?). A few online sparring sessions could be fun for everyone.
Many seem to have Team Fortress 2/Left4Dead, and theres plenty nice FPS and team-playable RTS games, so could be fun to gather up again for some online matches. Weekend's coming, so maybe this soon ?

Sounds like a cool idea HCR. It'll require some timezone management still. Using Steam games would be ideal, since it's easy to get hooked up. I played some L4D with Nightwolf and Killjoy the other night, and definitely had a good time. I wonder if having a small subforums in gaming discussion would help. Every new thread would be used for one specific game so that it's easy to plan and communicate.

There are already a few threads when fans of specific games discuss them, like EXteel, I believe.
A jump into some of those MMORPGs could be fun too, more specially if its on a private server (thered always be levelgrinding, for those who spend more time than others powerleveling). Monster Rancher is nice, but I dont believe itd beat Lineage2 or WoW.

For clan playing, I think the biggest showstopper is how ngemu despite its size doesnt have at all any machine reserved to be used as a game server instance. Even 1 mere home-grade one with normal connection could power dedicaced instances of a few FPS games, and members would probably join more if unfriendly practices like VAC are skipped in favour of more efficient cheat prevention or selection, like passprotected access non-VAC for only ngemu members (VAC doesnt even prevent cheating, despite people's unfriendly delusional preaches on the Valve forum, only encourages account theft. People keep playing with cheats for days/weeks, and for all we know any programmer tool installed could flag you)

So instead of people being scattered across xfire/steam servers, I believe itd be better to have them gather in a single location, with the games they have, those theyd like to be used, and the people they know. If not VAC but Punkpuster, public access to it could be better actually, to gather up more player for the clans.
