On this forum how do you obtain stars? Is it the number of posts? How trusted you are? If you're a pcsx2 tester/coder? Wheter you help others on the forum?

The more you post the more stars you get.
(also you can get more stars by being a Mod or GM (like zere he got more stars than me but I got more posts)

(but ain't this a little off-topic???)

what do you mean off topic? that's why I made a new thread so I could ask this. It's got nothing to do with the emulator but rather with the fourums thaemselves

We'd be arguing flame-style forever whether one deserves to 'win' so many stars with having less posts than required by the board. That's actually an automatic rule, directly related to number of posts. Allowing donation of stars would just mean ditching that awarding system.

nah, they sort of have that at other forums, with Karma shots and things of that nature. emuforums doesn't have it though. big deal.

anywho, seeing as how this question was answered already (thanks exodus) and these type of threads ALWAYS turn into a spamfest, i'm closing it. although, if you want to spam, just make a new thread about it. makes sense, right?
