chinese advertisement here? that's...strange
the picture is taken from the frontpage of www.ngemu.com
I guess very very few except native chinese can read these chinese character, why would the company spend money put an advertisement? does it mean many chinese would come here :) OK, in fact I don't know much about software design. the first chinese advertisement seems to offer training, so it would be easy to get certain certification related to software, that PSP is not the PS Pocket... the second advertisement sells screen protect plastic for mobile, ipod, PSP let me guess, these advertisement are RANDOM? and they will be replaced very soon? still strange to see one English, one Japanese, two Chinese advertisement on an English site

Google uses adverts based on words picked up on the actual article. For example: since we've mentioned China a few times here: I'm being offered property in Shanghai and Mandarin language lessons right now. If it's scanning the text on your PC it'll find a different language, thus offer you deals in that language. Another example of this is the "Metalheads Unite" thread. Check the attachment.
On another forum I went to we started a thread called "Fun with Adwords" where we just tried to confuse the living crap out of it. It's very easy to do since you just have to repeat yourself so that the keywords are picked up.

adsense rocks, i always laugh at the **** that it gives me. i got an email from my girlfriend on gmail, all the ads were about skin care/acne care. which is even better because the email mentioned nothing about it
 also, moved to site feedback. |

you sure its not because of your location?
i dunno if adsense does a location check to get the ads most stuitable for you or what, but it seems convenient youre in china and the ads were in chinese and someone from germany said theyve seen ads in a different language to english, yet im in england and ive never seen anything but english ads :P
