How about starting a "wallpaper of the week" competition?

I want to make a small suggestion to make things more exiting around here... Could we have a "Wallpaper of the week" competition or something? It would be really cool to just have any competition(like animating pictures and things like that...)

What do you think?

Sure but that would be more suitable to go into the General Pictures section. No offence or anything, but it would probably only last a few weeks and then people would get sick of it. I know I tried little conpetitions before.

and second of all, it's not even his decision

I really don't like doing competitions on these forums....not only will it only happen one time, and be forgotten about, I don't even think anyone is free to do something like this

well a competition would probably require a lot of work (check out Access Photo and their weekly/monthly competitions) because you'd have to have a lot of people post them, then have another thread that's a poll..and then people vote and blah blah. i mean seriously you'd almost need another forum.

and like kirby said, it would happen once or twice, and probably be forgotten about.

if you want to post that sort of thing, go to the perpetual desktop thread or any of the artwork threads and show it off. no need for a competition, eh?

Why don't you try a competition out and see how it works. Just remember to put it in the General Pictures Thread where it belongs
