Two suggestions from a new user

First, correct the PCSX2 FAQ as follows;

Quote:
How can I make a patch?
Instructsion on patch makes are here.
I'm going to just give you the benefit of the doubt that you made a typo, I won't patronize you by giving my spelling advice.

Second and most importantly, why isn't there a SNES section in this forum? Okay, maybe it's not for everybody, but I know that I play SNES games a lot more than anything else. And I assume there's at least a few more people like me on the forums already. I suppose the real question is; 'why not?'.

I'm guessing because ... well ... you know, this place IS called Next Generation Emulation. The last time I checked, the Super Nintendo isn't that "next generation."

And I wouldn't get overly pedantic because of a simple typo. Or maybe the author's native language wasn't English in which case I can see no reason to complain.

Typo fixed, thanks for pointing it out.

As industrian said, we are NGEmu, focusing mostly on the newer systems but discussions of SNES emulation fit in Misc console discussion well, and if you would just like to talk about your favorite SNES games, you could use our Game discussion forum.

At least we can do is thank him for pointing out at the type, it never hurts to work on Engrish, especially if it's in an FAQ

Also, in these years that I've been here, hardly anyone ever had questions about Snes emulators. Surely we've had the Snes9x vs Zsnes polls, but that's all.

prolly cause snes emulation is pretty simplified (Set your sound and resolution, set up contoller/keyboard and go) compared to the next gen stuff where you have to worry more about getting the most out of your system....

The request for support for SNES emulators on these, next generation emulator support forums makes as much sense as that guy on ZSNES' forums who wanted them to add in analog stick calibration to the emulator. If you're not laughing at that suggestion (the latter), then you need to think about it.

SNES emulator authors themselves have good enough forums for all of that jazz.

Anyway I think these stuff are pretty easy to implement.
lol, i think any person who's even attempted coding an emulator would want to take a baseball bat to anyone who said that.

NGEmu doesn't need to do SNES emulation because a lot of other sites have it covered. there are already forums out there if you need help with/want to discuss SNES emulation (or NES or whatever). NGEmu isn't a one stop emulation site you know....sigh, i wonder when my beloved PSX emulation will stop being "next gen"

anyway, typo fixed, SNES point clarified, i dont want to turn this into a huge discussion on either, so thread closed.

i hope so, it was still funny without it

that gives me an awesome idea for a thread...the "only post when you're intoxicated thread". is that against the rules?
