BTW, i suggust you guys change the sig options in whatpulse as norbi & quatro are waay over the limits atm, maybe others aswell. Remember 500x130 25k MAX

yeah, if you dont modify the whatpulse deal the size is around 40k

but the admins need to talk about this, . im using both now but i really dont mind taking off my whatpulse sig if its causing loading problems with other users. but knowones said anything yet so i just reduced it and keept it on their for now.

it's the background image that makes the size grow. Something that has alot of color uses the most space.

Remember, you can upload your own backgrounds to the WhatPulse servers

I found a way to help reduce the sig size down a couple of KB. The background are all png so what I did was to save the background I had for my sig on my computer, opened paint and loaded the background and resaved it as a jpg file. Went back to the sig editor page and uploaded the new background and unshared the file so it wouldn't show up as a duplicate in the backgrounds already listed. Chose the new background from the files i've uploaded section and let the sig editor do the rest. My sig was still a png but the size went from 23.7 K down to 17.5 K so it can help.

If you feel this is too much you can do what Kirby suggested in reducing the size of your sig or upload a new background of your own. Just make sure it's a jpg when you upload it.

im actualy trying to get the signature blend right, its their but i havent a clue how to get the boarder collor to what i want it to be

I don't undestand...

I got the glass image, saved it as jpg, it was only 6kb. Uploaded it, and a whooping 30kb!! What the hell is going on? Maybe the server changes the type of the file?

Edit: Nevermind the above, i just made it the same color as the forum. Nice and small (10kb)

Don't know have you noticed, but Quatro made some mad jump in the ranks fews days ago...

Bout the ranking. Soon, we will have so many clicks and stokes, that the ranks will changes dramaticly, every time somone pulses, it will just go up, then another pulse and it goes down.

You right Norbi, about the server changing the format it changes it to a png pic. I guess I should've suggested my method in addition to what Kirby suggested.

But it probably won't help some cause I saw a few backgrounds that was ridiculously high in KB, but i'm just throwing out something to try.

well if you work in the publication, you will tend to type often... i assure you of that

btw, if there is some issue about the sig... please tell me if the admins and mods diasgree about two sigs at once...

well I see teams that are so few but are high in ranking... well maybe they are already a member for a long time...
