thread closed because of breaking the rules?

My thread was closed because I think I was using the word iso, but I'm not sure if it was that. It was FLaRe85 who closed it, but why exactly ,FLaRe85, can you explane to me why ("breaking the rules" isn't enough for me), because there are many threads about iso files and they are not closed and if you have the retail version you can also copy it to your hard drive, ehm or not?
Or was it something else (the bios or what) because in the manual of the epsxe it is explained how to get it (don't want to explaine, maybe it's illegal stuff)but at least you have to have the real PSX and the retail Game. So where exactly is the problem so I don't make it the next time

I've also send an email to you, if you don't want to answer then it's also ok

Others can also try to explain this to me because those rules say that you are not allowed to talk about those isos ,but maybe the moderators just didn't found those other threads about isos( more then enough)

in your thread u said u downloaded a PSX Bios. a PSX bios is illegal to dl, a bios is legal if u dump it yourself. u said u downloaded it and thats why Flare closed it. ISO aren't illegal if u make them yourself for your personal use.

erk , this is it so ha silly question, but don't answer it(if it is illegal) how do i dump it because the official manual says this about it

What Yeloazn said is correct and the reason I closed the thread. By mentioning that you had downloaded the BIOS instead of legitimately obtaining it, you broke the rules. It would probably be a good idea to use better wording when you're describing an ISO in the future as well. Almost any admin would assume the ISO was downloaded when you refer to it as "tekken3.iso."

oups maybe this was to mutch, it was so funny i had to quote the manual, but i think this is also a rule break when i say how to get bios files, so if yes just ban me or kick this thread to hell but you have to admitt, it's funny :bounce:

its not funny...its been like this forever
its pretty clear what the authors wrote. If you don't say you dowloaded it then noone can accuse you of anything, but if you tell it to everyone then the admins have no choice but to close your thread since it would be encouraging piracy. don't ask for a ban becuz you might get it, the admins usually just give a warning and politly asks you to read the rules if its your first time here
