Simple problem with usercp.php...
As it happens, if I edit my preferences with usercp.php, the banner goes away. Or so I think, because they are gone now.
As a guest, using Internet Explorer, I see a Google ad (which i'm more than happy to see and click, though I miss the quote...) and get a popup. (which annoys the world out of me.) As a registered user, using Firefox, I see neither. Granted, popups are blocked by this browser very well and I can't be bothered to check if it's blocking any.... but I don't mind seeing the ad, which won't show up. Checking/not checking "show banners" and "show popups" have no effect. The "members only mirror" (which translates to popups, I see..) also has no effect. No combination of having these checks shows me any banners. All the other settings work, but these settings always reset to checked no matter which I uncheck. I would assume they are not being dynamically checked (which was probably/maybe intentional...) and possibly are not being saved properly. (perhaps using the wrong index of $_POST?) So, I don't know that this has been reported, but I'd be more than happy to see banners if it was working such that I could... -[Unknown] |

The UserCP is totally useless as of now, as the options in there aren't working yet with the new caching system
Sorry, they won't work before I found the time to finish a new version of it ...
