Hmm...custom avatar uploads don't seem to work. The Shinji avatar I was going to go with changed to the buu avatar from the default avatar selection. Interestingly, it seems to work properly only when admins manually change it...

This is a small and stupid bug, but avatars put in by admins manually doing so don't get saved when saving a page locally. Probably not something you need to worry about.

hmm, the avatar problem...seems to reset to the defaults after you browse for your avatar...simple fix, make sure you select Yes again before uploading.

is the avatar bug fixed yet (i don't mean to sound like a nag, just wondering if its ok to change avatars whenever I want yet cuz i don't want to bother another mod everytime i get a new avatar)

Yeah, like liquid said, just make sure that you choose "yes" again after you browse for your avatar.
