My own status

In the FAQ, it says the administrator can allow me to set a custom status. Is the administrator a person, or a computer program. What I mean is: do I have to wait till X posts?

Also, there should be (if there isn't, i'm kinda new) a distinction between the few thousand members who don't post or rarely post, and those who are here just about every other day.
Oh well, remember, you can ignore this if you want, I don't wanna be annoying.

Answers:

1. Yes, the admin is a real person. You can talk to the ones in the red stars; but your best bet, Ryos, will be out for quite some time. Try Bgnome, time your request when you think he's in a good mood.

So in effect there are two ways to get that "custom status":

a. Post 700 messages

or

b. ask an admin to change it for you (it's a privilege though, not a right)

2. There's a distinction....actually two. it's post count and the number of stars. The highest number of stars you can get is 7, though.

your post count determines how many stars you have. Mods/Adms or Emu authors have more than 7 stars(red stars, except for Sandie).
