Skip Rules/Notice for bin (and PCSX2?)

While it might not really limit anyone, it certainly gets annoying after a while. Is it possible to have a check box for it to stop showing up or something.

The bin regulars basically know the rules inside out (what little rules there are), so it really loses its meaning, especially considering the low amount of noobs that actually enter the bin.

Same goes for the PCSX2 forum... while I'm sure it does help filter out a few dumb questions, it must be really annoying for those who visit regularly. And if the check box (or whatever) 'hidden' like the evil smiley, people might actually read the rules a bit more.

The admin/mods have one, but regular members dont.

Personally id like to keep it that way but youll have to see what the other guys say, i wont contest it if they decide otherwise.

It doesn't really bother me because I just have a custom new posts search link (http://forums.ngemu.com/search.php?do=getnew ) in my bookmarks toolbar so that when I click it, it shows up new posts in the bin as well. I rarely ever check posts in the bin by navigating through the main forum page.

IIRC, there is a mod that can perform exactly similarly, with the possibility to either turn these rule visits optional or less frequent for the higher usergroups (customizable leniency, not like people over 2000 really need those thrown at the face every once in a while), or for example turn it intolerably strict (even enforcable on guests, though its not needed as they cant post in the first place). Pretty customisable.

Direct linking possible again, without it constituting a bypass of the section rules (especially beeing much friendlier for visitors and established members alike). the sections could have the forum announcements threads moved away since obsoleted by the existence of this more efficient mod. This mod could make the bypass of the forum/pcsx2 rules a thing of the past, as a side note. I think I mentioned it sometime in the past in this section, got the name on the tongue.

edit: found it.
SPOILER: Highlight text to view.
name: "Force Users to Read a Thread".
