Great work!

Will all the game boxart and stuff be available as a separate download too? (Sure hope so)
Thanks and I am looking into what I can do in creating a package of covers for each system but can't promise anything, regardless you will still need to add the covers yourself 1 at a time using drag and drop from windows explorer to the cover icon on the @ES screen

Anyway I have done up a 3rd video showing some other things @ES does and showing how friendly it is to your pc's resources!
Even though I recorded it in a higher quality on my phone it doesn't look much better then the other video's
Enjoy!

Part 3

Actually @ruantec Can Read the Name of a PSX Game, Right from the .ISO File...
The ID3 Tags of MP3 as well
So, I Guess we won't have to Link Cover-to-Item for ever

While it is true that @ES can read the read the name of the PSX game straight from the .ISO file it is not used for identifying or downloading the covers, so you would still need to physically add them yourself.

Plus @ES cannot get the information for the games in .cdz format or for consoles games that don't have tags in the file to read

So I am afraid you will be stuck with adding them yourselves I am sorry to say!!

Even if cover packs do appear I would assume that you still have to manually add them. Afterall you may name your game/music/vid files different to what the person that created the cover package did so it won't always be able to link a cover with the correct game or other file. So at least once you will have to manually drop the cover to the correct item. However then it is stored in @ES's cover folder which can just be copied over to future versions (and you will probably not continuously rename your games so the cover should stay with correct game).

At least that's what logic tells me.

that´s exactly the way it works

anyways mame/cps3 games will always work as they use always the same name

in other hands i can also add a code that checks the file size and if is the same you will get the right cover for it since aes store the files using a code generated from the filesize + filename

CRC? that could be the solution
