Tolkien Flash Introduction

Its not completely ready, i have to replace some stuff when i get it (a 3d ring (hy i4get) some more sounds, etc) but it will look kinda like this.

btw good news! Wormie was really gr8 and hosted me, so no one will have to worry about popups anymore

I still have problem with my space

Anyway flash look great but one thing it use too much loading time.
You have to decrease your flash size

It's kind of difficult to program it for the little people if all you have access to is broadband. My suggestion would be to befriend someone with dialup if you don't have some way to use a dialup method for checking purposes, Neojag. As for the animation, seems pretty good, but there's a little too much blank space in between some of the parts. One possible way to cut out much of the loading time would be to sacrifice Gandalf's distorted voice.

Ryos, i'm on 56k

and payed by minute (wich sucks completely but cable isnt here yet). But i cant see how to decrease the size more

all the sounds are MP3 16kbps (using fast compression), all the pics are 50% quality JPGs... dunno how to decrese it more...

but as soon as i learn how to do it ill add a loading bar so it doesnt become so frustrating

edit: the whole gandalf speech is about 50k... but its a vital part of the animation

oki, the basic preload bar has been added... at a cost of more 10kb

but anyway, its jes a 25 to 25% graduated bar, not to good but simple and efective...

now u can enjoy the loading time watching at a nice bar
