Need Hosting?

Greetings All,

Bobbi, Thorgal, the rest of the team, and myself are all very proud to announce that Flaretech.Biz Web Hosting is now accepting signups from the general public. Our site is still not ready due to some delays, but the servers have been tuned and tested and are ready for hosting.

To celebrate the launch, we are giving away a month of FREE hosting to those that sign up and are from the FLaReTecH, NGEmu, or EmuFanatics / EFx2 forum communities. In order to be eligible, you need to have registered on the forums by May 5th, 2004 and signup using the same email address you used to register on the forums. Once you've signed up, PM me with your username and the forum you're from and once confirmed, I will credit your account with the free month.

We are a reputable host, with our roots stemming from the emulation community and looking to establish a healthy customer base. Our servers are housed in the same datacenter as NGEmu and managed by some of the same staff so you can expect the same top-knotch quality and performance you get from NGEmu. We utilize the HELM control panel system, giving customers extensive control over the site(s) they host with us. You can test-drive the interface here.

At the moment, our hosting plans are limited to the consumer class, but we have a desire to expand and eventually offer hosting to business class users. A plan comparison can be found here. Please note that plans are not necessarily fixed either. You can signup for a plan and completely customize it with additonal resources and/or features if you like. Our rates are competitively priced with guarenteed bandwidth limits. We focus on the quality aspect of hosting, rather than exaggerating and advertising over-inflated bandwidth quotas that we don't have. Each customer is guarenteed their bandwidth quota. We won't cut you off if you consume all of your bandwidth or even go over.

We understand the value of customers and will work hard to please them. If you're interested in doing business with us, please head to this page where you may signup for a hosting package. Signups are currently moderated so, be sure to provide accurate information when signing up. Upon approval, you will receive a welcome email with instructions on how to proceed.

Note: This is a limited-time offer. It will last for two weeks, ending on May 20th, 2004 at 11:59pm. Anybody signing up afterwards will not receive the free month.

Regards,
Kyle Mulligan

I'd just like to congratulate FLaRe, Bobbi, Thorgal and the others.

I'd encourage those looking for low cost hosting to consider FLaRe. He knows what he's doing and while he isn't offering insane amounts which cannot be met, he is offering great service at a price that's reasonable.

I don't see why not. The idea behind giving out the free month is so that you can signup without worries and "test-drive" the service in order to make a sound judgement on whether you like it or not. If you don't care to stay after the month is over, just submit a cancellation notice to us.

That's perfectly fine, Takmadeus. I'm not expecting those who can't afford the service to sign up. I certainly don't want to force anybody further into poverty. I'm just trying to provide a service that, as best it can, offers a wide variety of hosting plans to fit different budgets and needs. There have been other situations where some people had needs that didn't quite fit any of the plans we offered so we worked together with those individuals and came up with custom plans that fit exactly what they were looking for. Would something like that be better suiting for you?
