Unhappy Major website help...

Ei guys... I need you again, you see this company offered me a job and they needed their site to be a big one, you know, the one with search engines, etc. well, the only problem is im only good at Web Designing(or at least i think i am) and I dont have knowledge to create the PHP/ASP/COLDFUSION nor have the money to buy the commercial ones, the free ones just plain sucks or i just couldn't find a good free one. So could you guys give me an alternative for the following? Btw, i can deal with PHP as long as they have instructions in the code provided like: //Type here the location of your logo image.

I need the following:
- Forum - tried ezboard but their advertisement was HUUGE =(
- Chat - couldn't find a good free one.
- Search - this one's really hard to find so i wont blame you guys if you give me a very uncustomizable or hard to customize one. btw, if you guys couldn't find one give me a hint on what script to learn whether it would be PHP/ASP/COLDFUSION. at least give me the one easiest and fastest to learn since i have to finish the site in 1 more week.
- Login - where the user's must signup then login in order to view the index.html,

- Formmail - Dont Worry =) found many good ones.

The company don't care about advertisements as long as the advertisement isn't as huge as the one found in the free version of ezboard. It's pretty hard but i desperately need it to continue my studies... oh yeah, and im not forcing you guys to give me everything. every little suggestion like learn PHP, here is a good site to learn it, is pretty cool with me.

btw, i've already finished everything out except the ones i asked you guys about. sorry for the pathetic grammars(might given you headaches), i've needed to rush this message cause i've to finish the website

~again, thanx.

Re: Major website help...

I'm about to start a Perl-based search engine using MySQL. But it won't be finished in a week.

Re: Major website help...

I've just launched Komodo (excellent IDE for Open Source Languages) and am about to start coding now.

Any ideas for features are always welcome.

Basically it will consist of a search script and a seperate admin panel script.

Invision power board is very good. www.invisionboard.com. You can register it for $60 to be able to remove the info at the bottom.

Also be sure to check out hotscripts.com

Re: Major website help...

How's this for customisation. The script will use a standard HTML file but with a special tag (something like ">_~AFS_RESULTS~_<") which will be replaced with the search results. Also the search results will be customised with a block of HTML with tags such as ">_~PTITLE~_<" and ">_~PURL~_<" which will be replaced with the differant fields.

Re: Major website help...

Btw, the tags are cool.

I have already surfed to hotscripts.com, except im having troubles looking for a good one, there's so many of them and i cant download and test them all. so could you guys help me out? i mean, something that you've already tested and works. btw, i dont have money/credit card so i cant buy the commercial ones

Hey! i already have a chat system and message board. so that leaves me to only 2 problems:
