OpenGL SDK?
I am taking a graphics program next semester in OpenGL, so I thought it couldn't hurt to have the SDK. I was going to download it, but I ran into a rather big problem.
I searched on google, and I seem to have found not one, but two SDKs right off the bat. http://www.berkelium.com/OpenGL/sgi-download.html http://developer.nvidia.com/view.asp?IO=opengl_sdk Is there any difference between the SGI and nvidia SDKs? If so, which one would be the logical one to have, or would it be better to have both? Does anyone know? |

JegHegy, thanks. I will check out the FAQ. Like you say, it's BIG though.
Quote:
1) I don't like MS. One less Direct3D programmer would make the world a better place. 2) OpenGL can do just as much as D3D, and from what I see, it's easier. 3) The graphics program I am taking is offered only in OpenGL. |
