Website for a school project

well, the project itself is due monday, its for english class about LOTR The Two Towers, anyways i started yesterday, so far ive got the main page done, if you want to see it the url is http://www12.brinkster.com/twotowers/home.htm
i got the idea to put it on brinkster from a comment in another thread, anyways, i know i gotta fix up the way the buttons are cut off, and ofcourse i gotta make the pages, what i need is some ideas and maybe some artwork (artwork as in art pictures, not movie cutouts, since my teacher said i cant put em up) anyways, besides the little tips and criticisms, what do you guys think?

Looks pretty nice to me. I especially enjoy playing with your scrolling text. It does funny things if you highlight the text and drag your mouse across it.

well, SOME html experience, about 4 years ago i made a website at age 11... wasnt good, and havent done anything since, so i basically tried integrating some source codes, i had to find out how to do that table by looking up the ngemu source

apparently my brother bought a book with LOTR artwork but i would still need access to a scanner to upload them

Not bad, maybe too much negative space and I suggest that you put some color to the typo or change the typograhy. Heh, it's also been a while since I've seen <marquee>.

i updated the page a little bit and added part of the story, fixed a few urls... ill fix the buttons later, and please keep in mind this is only a website for a school project, it doesnt have to be too tacky

I'm getting 404 error for the People and scenery button.

Too much white space.

Try and go for a more uniform colour scheme-blue buttons and red and green title does not match.

Try and put in a background, like a scene from the Two Towers

you are getting that problem because the pages have not actually been made yet, ill change the gui and table later

heh, what id wanna do is make a thin leaf vine instead of the plain grey line, but cant find a leaf vine pattern

hmm, i gotta ask a question here... is it called the palantir, or the palantnr... cause i think the book on my pc mispelled it... also, at the end of the first part of the two towers, the army is going to the lands of mordor right? ... i wonder where neojag is
