QUAESTION** Igot the Free hosting people lycos.co.uk and i got a phpbb forum started and some times its slow to connect is there a way to find out how much of my free bandwidth it using...?also do forums eat up much space? cause my lycos thing still says my mb is 0% used

It depends they will start to take up space from say avatars and attachment systems. Also the database size itself wount be too big, but the more posts the bigger it gets.

I was going to buy a host in lycos but my friend advice me not to host on it because it is slow (I mean paid site)

You mean the Loading time.

4 me it should be very fast... 100mbps cable modem but it was slow

I trying to find host that around 50 mb hosting, Frontpage Server Extensions, domain free domain registration *I can accept something like this <your desired name>.<company's name>.com/net/org, and no pop up banners/banners on the page because I using frames...

I was thinking of netfirm's free plan or there are better ones on the net... Is it a good choice or not.

I am looking a webhosting site to host some MP3s.

Space is not a concern, but bandwidth is.

Does anybody know of a site that offers unlimited or very high bandwidth?

Geocities finally indicates how much bandwidth is offered for their free package.

It's 3 GB per month, but does it mean when it is monitored hourly?

so far t35.com is sweet !

they've just upgradede to somewhat "unlimited space" , no banners/popups , FTP access .. seems fine here =)

Suppose to have PHP support but im not sure .
