the pokemon mods are not going to work. why? i don't know, if i knew whatever programming language VBA was written in i would try to fix it.
it is a limitation of the mac version of VBA, and there is nothing anyone whithout programming skills can do about it. your best bet is to borrow a friends windows computer if you really want a pokemon, and if you can't do that, I am sure you can live without it, the pokemon games really are not that complicated the codebreaker item codes work just fine, 999 masterballs in slot 1 of pc no problem. like i said, if you make wild pokemon mods work, tell the rest of us because that would be a miracle. i have to go get lunch and go to work, ill check back after that to see if there is any new requests Last edited by Orishnu; November 29th, 2007 at 17:15. I have been playing Emerald on the VBA, and I want to fill my PokeDex, but the wild pokemon codes do not work. In general it takes no effect on the game. I have been waiting for an possible multiple image and VBA link updates to come out for mac, but I will probably paralell a windows os and then set it up so it saves in th esame format as the mac saves.

if you are going to run virtual windows on your mac i highly suggest using vmware fusion over parallels, runs smoother and is easier to use. I use it myself, it works pretty well. Turns out you don't wanna be switching everytime you want to enter a code though, get annoying. You are better off just playing in the virtual machine.
