Too Slow

im useing vba and it is slow
i playing golden sun but its too slow

I have a AMD k-6

Have you tried using a higher frameskip? I'm not sure it would bring up to the full speed, but it starts with 0 and can be put up to 5.

i heard turnin' off the audio also helps, but me not sure...
i have a amd 550 k-6 and it still runs some games slooow w/ vga ;(
imo playin' gba games on a computer takes out all the fun gba offers, so personally i use it juz for demo testin' purpose

Very true lizardj. For some reason I never like using emulators for portables, it just doesn't feel the same.
