Help FFTA save problem

I'm playing FFTA but I need to save the game using the internal save system but this message appear "error in backup memory" I tried everything I found on the internet but nothing works. Now I need a way to convert my save type form 128k to 64k, because when I load the game using F1 command my *.sa1 file become 128k again.

im not positive, as i havnt had this happen to me yet, but i dont think thats possible. try having only "automatic" and " flash 64K" checked off under the save types menu and leave everything else in that menu un-checked.
