crash during pokemon emerald

This is will be a long explanation.

After I had taken a long break from playing on vba, at which point i had no problems, i returned and started playing pokemon emerald. It goes fine until a certain point, don't know what initiates it, but my computer will shut down. I have tried several versions of vba including 1.7.0, 1.7.2, 1.7.2CE, and 1.8.0.3, all with the same results. I downloaded several different roms of the same game, which i believe to be the same rom with different names, though it was worth a shot. I had this similar problem with morrowind and two things helped it. One; i changed my startup options so only a few programs were running. Again that failed. Two; i switched the driver of my video card/chipset (Intel GMA 900) from 14.25 to 14.18 which solved the problem for morrowind. That, too, failed. I have been reading around for solutions, some of which say that vba can't do it on its own. However this isn't a problem otherwise. This used to be a problem transcoding movies, but i purchased an external cooling device so my laptop wouldn't overheat. I have also tried deleting the vba.ini file several times, but same results. There are other propositions that I have read, but i figured the most direct way to solve this was to write this.

On the morrowind forums, an error post was usually accompanied with the directx diagnostic report so i will attach it.

Please help me.
Thanks in advance

Hi, and welcome to the forums. Obviously this is your first post, so you probably didn't read the rules. We do support piracy. So, don't bother asking for help if you illegally downloaded the roms.

'Nough said.
