Problem with legacy of goku

well yea...this is my first post, and im kinda new to emulation, but here goes:

i downloaded legacy of goku for my VBA, but i can load the game all the way up to the main menu, i get to see the cut scene and stuff, but when it hits the main menu, the game just says "This program will not run on the hardware found." but it still loaded up to that point, so im confused.

any help will be appreciated, thanks!

please help if you can, sry if this is a noobish question, oh and i already tried that file on NO frills, but it was just a save fix and did nothing for my problem...

i tried the file on NO Frills, but it did absolutely nothing for fixing my problem lol.

any help will be appreciated

There is a sticky for this . Piracy is illegal. Buy the game.

You can, if you legally dump it yourself. It can be played using the information in the sticky in the VBA sub-forum. It even says DBZ on it.

You need to delete your current vba.ini file, then put the vba-over.ini file found here in the emulator's folder. Then start the emulator, put the settings back the way you want them, and start the game.

Alternatively, you could go to Options --> Emulator --> Save type in VBA's menu and set it to EEPROM. You'll need to change the save type back to automatic for many other games to work, however, so it's more convenient to just use vba-over.

That version is older. I just posted a newer version on the first post of that thread just the other day.

Yeah. Make sure that you also delete whatever save that the VBA may have produced. It's located in the folder that you set your battery saves to.
