Linux VBA Cheat help?

Is there a way to enter gameshark cheat codes with the Linux SDL version of VBA?

There are no cheats on Linux, at least not on the SDL version. I don't know if the GTK version had it or not.

I installed Wine, and after some fiddling, got VBA to "work" in it. It was enough to do the one cheat I wanted to, but the graphics and sound were flaky. Thankfully, VBA savestates are compatible between Linux and Windows.

that's too bad, not that I needed it just wanted to know for sure. it would be nice if some linux developers could join forces with the vba team and make a gtk version of vba with cheat support, too bad I don't know how to program at all.

Well anyways thanks for telling me what I wanted to know.

I wonder if the SDL version would load a cheat file created by some other version? If so, you could have someone with windows create the cheat file for you, then use it on linux.
