hello, teh n00b again I would like to REQUEST (just for convenience) an Edit Code button, multiple Values of code under ONE checkbox thingy (sorta like (M) is xxxxxxxx yyyy, xxxxxxxx yyyy, but Is not one line called (M) xxxxxxxx yyyy, then another one called (M)xxxxxxxx yyyy, just mashed into one activator/En. Dis. thingy) Also, I would LOVE GSSP format codes support, which are just really Codebreaker code format, but encrypted. Hope you can do any of that d00d

GSSP codes are supported. Just enter them! It is all a matter of how you input the codes. PokemonHacker implemented all the known cheat devices I think.

Like Forgotten said, gssp is supported, but you'll have to use the (m) code in order to work since they are encrypted... and when you use a gssp, the other code types doesn't work anymore, so use just gssp... if you try use a unencrypted code with the gssp active ones, vba may also crash

would be good if PokemonHacker add some other\hacked code types, like 8bit Slide Code that CB doesn't support (yeah, arv3/v4 has, but is boring that you have to encrypt the codes all the times, besides CB codes are easy to handle)

yeah, but even decrypted ar codes are hard to handle

AR RAW
4A22AAAA 0000FFFF

VBA RAW
0202AAAA:FFFF

CB
8202AAAA FFFF

SLIDE CODE

AR RAW
00000000 8222AAAA
00000001 010A0001

CB
4202AAAA 0001
0001000A 0002

that's why CB it's easy to input codes without even convert since all you have to do is put the code type

but anyway, i'm not requesting anything, vba is good enough

EDIT August 6:
I just finished fixing that bug where I got often noise when I entered the menu. That all was caused by buggy sound drivers, but there is a workaround for it. I simply had to add the flag DSBCAPS_LOCSOFTWARE to the DirectSound buffers. This flag causes that the buffers will not get processed by the sound hardware but by the local software.
I added an option to enable/disable the DSBCAPS_LOCSOFTWARE: Options>Sound>Hardware Acceleration

So in short: if you get loud noise, disable sound hardware acceleration in the next release.
And where would this version with the sound fixed be?

Probably never. These guys quit working on this. They have no interest in this anymore. They move on with their life.

There are a lot of things wrong with this program anyway. Use something else.

VBA is still the best GBA emulator, but every program in existance has flaws (be they bugs, or features that weren't included, or whatever). It's doubtful that any GBA emu will get much more work in the future now that DS is taking over. People have simply shifted their focus.

But is there any other VBA mod that is still in development?

Which one is the most recommended now?

Ok, so I downloaded. But how do I open VBA? I downloaded the files and try to open VBA, but it doesn't open. So how do I open the .7z file?

Search on Google for an extractor. I would recommend this site:
ALTools PC Utilities - Zip, Unzip, FTP, Movie Player, DVD Player, Picture Viewer, Login Password manager

Flamingmage: Did you ever get the file extracted? Most recent programs will extract 7z files (except winzip, which is a worthless little turd of a program). The official one is 7-Zip It's only about 1meg in size, and is completely free. IZarc is another good, free alternative.
