Does using an emulator fix the FFIV Advance slowdowns?

There are some slowdowns in battle on the GBA. Will they still exist on a fast PC?

Also, does anyone know how to eliminate slowdowns on the overworld map (like during the intro of the game with the ships flying across the landscape)?

Okay, but the slowdown I experience in the intro and with the airship is not normal. How do I fix it?

Make sure you're running spacy's build or VBA 1.8.3, and if it still persists, end unneccassary processes and use the mute function in VBA. If it still happpens, which it probably wont, use the space bar.

Another thing to get extra speed

Mess wif the graphics filter options, and try and find the lowest setting.

But, your computer is more than fast enough to run any game on VBA>

Yeah, choosing a different filter seems to have solved the problem.
