Castlevania COTM speed problem.

Every other game I've tried to run (which is only a total of 2) has run at normal speed for for this emulator except for Castlevania Circle of the Moon. Of which only runs at about 75-80% speed. Is there a way to fix this? (both other games which where castlevania games ran perfect)

Try Muting your sound in the VBA options, and removing unneccassary processes from the task-manager.

I don't think getting rid of processes will make a difference because I don't have very many processes running. I can run n64 and psx games perfect on this computer (its not my comp though). And it won't be much fun if I mute the sound.

Try reducing sound quality.
Also what filters do you use? they tend to eat a lot of resources.

yes, actually VBA runs heavier than ePSXe, for example.
