Question Gameshark Cheats for Pokemon Fire Red

I know this has been asked before, but the thread is old and a new one is needed for me.

I have been playing Fire Red on my VBA for a while, and I wanted to use the gameshark cheat that allows me to catch any pokemon. (This was my favorite GS code on my real GB.) It is a GamesharkSP code, and the gameshark plugin included w/VBA is Gameshark Advanced. I have read that this isn't a problem, just plug the code into the codebreaker slot with a space b/f the last four digits. However this does not work for me, and I have tried many, MANY different ways.

http://faqs.ign.com/articles/568/568292p1.html

this is the link to the codes I am using, any advice or other cheats (that are known to work) would be *wonderful*. Thankyou so much, and happy gaming.

codebreaker codes for VBA

hi, i had the same problem as you, but i found a massive list of codes that work.

http://www.pokecommunity.com/archive...hp/t-7851.html

just before half way down the page, a guy called pokehunter lists all the codes, you just copy and paste them onto the codebreaker cheat box on the VBA, but first you need to copy and paste the master code.

Correct (m) code support, that allow these king of GSSP/CBA code to work, has been implemented only a few weeks ago. And I don't remember if Spacy released a build with these changes... In any cases, the next 'official' build will (should) make tthese codes work properly.

No, I did not yet upload a build of that, but I can do so if you wish.
