Problems with GBA Video

Hello, Im having probelms with GBA video. I have a rom of the 2 episodes of Sonic X, VBA plays the rom fine but the videos dont show up, i can hear the sound but the screen is black.

Alos ive been having probelms playing Shantae, same problems as in this topic: http://forums.ngemu.com/visualboy-ad...hlight=shantae

Im using a Visual Boy Advance Emulator, not an actuall GBA.

i will recommend that you buy a gameboy advance, because you need to know the state of your games...

Not sure what version of VBA you are using, but Sonic X videos play fine on 1.8.0b3 (and I guess all the 'unoficial' versions derived from it) and give a black screen on 1.7.2.

For Shantae, you'll need a version of VBA with the latest GBC changes, ie. either Spacy build (which doesn't have all the final GBC changes yet, but Shantae seems to play fine on it), or wait for the next 'official' release of VBA.

thanks pokemonhacker, thats what I needed to know. I use VisualBoyAdvance Collector's Edition v1.0 whcih is based on VBA 1.7.2.
