VBA-Strange Transparency Issue.. need help.

I'm playinf FF Tactics Advance and I was playing with settings one day and now suddenly the magic/skill animations are wacky. All my characters have black outlines and when they do magic I see wierd images with black stuff rather than pretty glowy effects.

Stuff like lightnight and fire just look like flat images moving around. I think it might be in teh video settings, if I could only restore all of the settings back to before I did anything I'm sure it woul dbe okay but I can't. I've deleted teh vba.exe and teh .ini and .copy files and replaced them but for some reason my options stay the same... 0.0

EDIT: Okay I was just beign retarded, I really deleted the .ini file and now it displays normaly again However I still wanna know what setting I played with that did that...

It should have been caused by the Disable SFX in the video options.
