VBA saves on VBA Link?

Because I cant find how to save normally any where on this site I just save using the VBA's saving, then I tried to use the Link version of vba so I could trade and stuff, started up two VBA Link v1.7.2's, I hit link under options on both, the controls are set differently on both, started the game, then when I try to load the save by way of File/Load it says "Unsupported VisualAdvance save game version 9".

Does this mean if I ever want to link up to trade or whatever I have to erase my saves and start a new game on all my games using the VBA Link version?!?

That means the version you used was too new for the link version (assuming that the link version didn't change the save state internals of course).

ok... so what do we do? Is there an older verson on VBA available?

Okay OS I finaly opened my game with VBA link after resaving from teh old verson...

Does VBA Link Support Final Fantasy Tactics Advance? Because I can't get it to find a link.
