GameShark SP Codes???

Hey everyone well I'm new here and I've been in the ROM community though for a long time! But with the new Pokemon Fire Red game (hey they are good games... they're long and challenging haha) I went to use cheats but the list I got them off of (and from other multiple sources) it says it requires the GameShark SP and not the GameSharkGBA (which I belive is the version built in the VisualBoyAdvance emulator) I am trying to get the pokemon Deoxys (which is only a pokemon available at those nintendo events, blah blah blah) so yea if anyone knows how to either get the pokemon or know how to get GameShark SP cheats to work that wouold be greatly appriciated!

GS Sp codes work, but are a little buggy, you often have to try putting them in in different ways to find one that works. They can be put in as either codebreaker codes or AR/GS codes. There needs to be a space before the last 4 digits of the code. VBA usually puts the space in automatically, but then the code fails to work (no clue why), so it's best to put the space in manually.

Gameshark.com GS SP codes are supported by the emulator. They should be entered as Codebreaker codes, in the format Cypherswipe mentioned. Note that if the first line of the Master code starts with a '9', this will need to be entered as well.

Ohhhhh - good thing you posted those codes. They don't work on VBA

If you want a wild Pokemon modifier, use the Action Replay codes here.

btw, where'd you get those codes from?

Hey labmaster, thanks for those... I got the codes after searching on Google so Idk where exactly I got it from. All I need to do is just type in that code? Or do I need to turn on some Master code or something? When I tried it came up with the all famous "circuit board" error so have anymore ideas? I have AIM at soccerdude21490 if u have AIM and could IM me sometime that would be cool.. thanks :bounce:

Go to gamefaqs.com, lookup pokemon fire red, then go to the faqs page. There should be one or more faqs with codes and info for modifying wild pokemon.

I didn't have any problems using the codes - US version of Fire Red, straight copy and paste, enter them under Gameshark.
