Best Render Method For My Video Card?

Can someone please explain to me how to figure out which is the best render Method for my video card? I have a crappy GeForce 4 MMX 440. Also, where could I learn how to find this out for myself in the future? Is there a website or something that explains what each render method is and which one suits which card?

The OpenGL renderer should work well with your card.

any of the renderers should work perfectly with your card. honestly, it's a matter of preference; how "original" or "enhanced" you want it to look

Well, I think when it comes to how original or enhanced I want it to look, I think of performance. I like to have a good mix of speed with visual enhancements.
I suppose my processor would help here, I've got a AMD 2500+ running at 1.83ghz. Then again, this IS just a gameboy advance emulator. I use the Sal2x filter and it seems to run ok.

with a rig like that i dont think you'll have a problem with GBA emulator performance. use any graphics setting you like. go strictly by looks, there is no need to worry about performance
