1.8.0 beta question

first things first, great job!

Now what is the small ver of 1.8 that 404's supposed to be? is it the same just UPX'd? And what compiler was this release done with? It is _really_ slow. I had to grab the CVS and compile it with VC++6. Much better speed (but still slower than Forgotten's releases). And Since Im using the CVS, is there anything different between 1.8CVS and the beta2?
