Visualboy's Frame Rate is all messed up

I don't like to complain bout emulators but I never seen Samus (Metroid Fusion) move so slow in my life I really need to know how to help it move a little more quicker. Other than that it seems to be great picture is ok and everything. Truly a good emulator besides the problem I encountered.

Set your framerate to 2... What are your computer specs anyway?

Make sure you don't auto frameskip set if you have a fast computer. It doesn't seem to work well on all computers.
