Maybe you have speed-up toggle enabled (options -> emulator)?

That seems fishy, even for an XP 1600+. even without sync you shouldn't be getting over 300%. At those speeds you shouldn't even have a chance to take a screenshot. :hmm:

I´m a real stupid or what?
Somehow the speed function was always on, maybe is a conflict on the gamepad, but know it´s everything ok.
Sorry guys for this.

I have a similar problem, but it only speeds with non-GBA games (gb colour, gb classik etc)...

this does not occur in version 1.1 (the one before 1.31)...
is this related? (I have checked all the things mentioned here and none of it works).

Speaking of which, I used to get sudden random jumps in FPS for GB/GBC games on VBA back when I had Windows ME, though that was on an older version of VBA. WinXP fixed that problem for me when I upgraded though.

I am using WIN XP Proffesional
This problem only occurs sometimes, that is to say that one time it may speed like this and the next it might not.

SPECS:

MEM: 1024 DRam
CPU: AMD XP 1800+
GFX: Nv GeForce 2 MX 400
MBO: ASUS A7V266-E

I have a suggestion. You should ALWAYS disable "use old syncronization" unless you run into problems.
