Bios file

Hi. I have 33 gba roms and they all works great with VBA. But I want to know one thing: there is any advantage in using the bios file? I mean, i don't have one, but all my games works w/o it.

i didn't find any difference with or without the bios, but there could be some games which use some special thingy VBA doesn't know about, i guess

If you don't use the BIOS file, you cannot do savestates (at least in my case).

Well, I'm using save states (I used them a lot in Castlevania COTM), so thats not it.
