Tutorial(Entering codes in VBA)

I came on that idea because many people had asked me how to make them work.

Where do I enter cheat codes?
Under the Cheats menu, go to the Cheat List option. This will bring up the list of cheats and it will let you add new codes, remove and disable codes.

Before entering any code ENABLE(picture vba2) cheats, when you did that go on CHEAT LIST option and then will one window appear(picture vba3)

Before activating any GAMESHARK or CODEBREAKER CODE enter MASTER CODE(MUST BE ON)(picture vba4)

After you did that enter any code you want(picture vba5)
Now click OK(picture vba6) you're ready to play

That is way that I use for using codes and they are working every single time!
Enjoy!

google it.

towards the issue of buttons, either button works to add gameshark and code breaker codes, since a bug was fixed in 1.6, both buttons also are able to add Action replay codes

But VBA-M only supports *unencrypted* AR codes, right?
(CBA codes work encrypted, I just can't make encrypted AR codes work).

If they (encrypted AR codes) work - can anyone point me to the part of code where they are implemented? I was adding commandline cheatcode support to the SDL port and this would help. Going through AR Crypt 2.exe is not exactly the pinnacle of pleasure (since I am on linux and wine's clipboard doesn't work with X's selections for me).

If they don't work, does anyone know where I could look for some info?

(Edit: oops, sorry, didn't notice this is VBA forum and not VBA-M forum ... anyway, most of the point still stands, and VBA-M *IS* VBA nowadays ...)

Thanks a million man, i was wracking my brain for hours trying to get cheats to work, I officially owe you a beer.

Also, if it's of any help to anyone else trying these codes, enter them as CODEBREAKER.

Thanks again.
