VBA-M in Win7

I have had win7 installed and decided to try VBA-M so I downloaded svn 907 and tried to load my Pokemon Emerald. It loads but just displays a blank screen. I've also already updated my directx so any ideas?

blank screen = incorrect flash size.

Options>Emulator>Save Type>Flash 128 KB
Then reopen the rom and it should work.
