Sound Editor

where can i find a good sound editor that can strip out the music and the artist voice?

If you mean that it would import the music and artist's voice to separate tracks, I'm quite sure that it doesn't exist.

Audacity is pretty good open source program and you can try to fade either with an equalizer.

Or if you have two versions of a song: instrumental and instrumental+vocals, you can try OOPS for ripping artist's voice from the song. (Link below)
