need a way to stop UT3 from crashing

i got ut3 for christmas and after installing and patching it, i cant play for more than a half hour or so before it crashes.

i have vista, so i get the "this application has stopped responding message" and have the option to look up a solution online (okay, sure

) or to close the program. the only valid choice is to close ut3 since "looking up a solution" gets me a message from microsoft to check for video driver updates.

but back to the main problem. ut3 keeps crashing, i have the newest video drivers, and its patched. anyone else experiencing the same thing and/or have a solution? thnx

i really really want to start playing this online

fixed it. if you happen to have the same problems try turning off openAL hardware for the sound. it stopped the crashes for me
