Windows Vista + RO Problem vs XP + Driver Problem

Hell I'm so confused. I was regularly using Vista Ultimate and have no major problem at all. Not, until I was installing RO (Ragnarok Online). The patch has been downloaded (complete) and it runs well. But when I'm entering the user name and password, it always freezed and no keys can be used (neither the mouse cursor). Alt+tab, Ctrl+Alt+Del, F4, etc won't work ... and there's only 1 key to finalize it (reset button). I tought it was the RO, that won't work at Vista, so I searched to iRO forum and found about security option that need to be activated (but yes I've did it and still it crash in the same way).

In the mean time, I'm also (despertly) installed XP and the other problem is coming : my laptop drivers won't work. Specially Ethernet Controller, so I can't connect to the internet (and of course I can't play RO as well).

For you to know, I'm using laptop. It's sucks I know, but this is the best I have right now : Toshiba Satellite A135-S4467, Core 2 Duo T5200 (1.6GHz), 2048MB RAM (formerly 1024, but I've upgrade it), 160GB HDD, 802.11 a/b/g Wireless Lan.

Additional info : in Vista i'm able to connect to internet, chatting, and update the RO, but can't play it.
In XP, I can't connect to the internet because I'm using DSL and the Ethernet Controller have no XP driver (Toshiba = sucks, force us to use Vista and have no XP support at all).

For everyone who have the same problem with me, or have any solutions, please give me your advice. I'm despertly need to run RO @ XP

freezing is almost always either a hardware or driver fault. try updating them first.

I did, and it still no works for me. It always crash at login screen. And I got an email from iRO game masters :

Unfortunately, if you have tried the solutions in our vista FAQ, this is an issue that idRO needs to respond to. On your laptop, do you have a separate video card or one that is integrated? All versions of RO will experience problems with integrated video cards. Beyond that, it could be a client issue.

I just curious, is this happend in Vista only or XP also affected? If XP can do it, then problems I have to solve is just an Ethernet Controller dirver.

It's only in Vista, confirmed. I'm manage to run RO @ XP with the same laptop after installing the Ethernet Controller from a friends.
