No you won't the Redistributable is just a bunch of runtimes and files that your PC needs to have installed to run the program, same with DirectX.

As for where they go I have no clue... I have never tried to use the program...I just wanted to see if I could help

Just install DirectX and those runtimes....I don't get why you are worrying about those two files.

If you have to ask then you don't have the latest as it's updated pretty much monthly.

Most likely...as I don't use this program though I have no clue there either...it's just a semi-educated guess.

Looked for it for over a year now. I have not seen anything else other than Awave that does something similar.

Your best bet would be to find it, create a program that can use DLS files, or PM me. The only clue I have so far: I have just one lead, VGMTrans homepage is now completely taken over (It's been 2 years, and I can't find VGMTrans anymore other than the files put up here.), Awave Studio is very hard to find, and many other clues are scarce.

It's been long due more than a year, but I hope you can accept my answers. I'm sorry for the bump, but I must answer this post.
