The KMPlayer for stand alone videoplayer.
The Good: doesn't need codecs, good quality, many options, nice gui, freeware.
The Bad: can seem complicated at first because of the many features it has.

Yes, torrents client. I thought you was talking about torrents client.
FlashGet does the two job.

I've been using the free version of DAP for almost 3 years now. It's feature-packed and does indeed accelerate download speeds.

I used to have that with XP and WMP9, but WMP11 plays all formats out of the box so it isn't needed at all.

It seems to be known as advanced system care now, and it appears to be a rather basic barebones tuning application. I'd say that there are other, more powerful variants around, but seeing as there is a free version available you might be able to give it a bit of a shot. I wouldn't expect too much from it though.

Thank you for this information. For a second there I thought you might give us a full rundown of its features, informing us all of the splendors which lie within. Alas I was wrong.

i don't trust anything with the year following it, unless it comes from a well known brand.

to many malware's are sneaking onto computers using nasty naming schemesl ike that.

Define well known brand, Norton and Kaspersky have that naming scheme, do they contain malware?
